Healthy aging, emotional states and favorable environmental spaces

ABSTRACT

In correspondence with the provisions of chapter V, guidelines 140 and 144 of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution, emanating from the VI Congress of the PCC, as well as articles 11, 13, 16, 75 and 90 of the Constitution of The Republic of Cuba, referring to the environment, the Media Luna Municipal University Center, through the University Chair for the Elderly, provided unconditional support to this population sector and includes the associates of ANCI, ANSOC and ACLIFIM. The refined basic course program is designed to impart the content of the modules through lectures in the planned meetings, but extra teaching activities were also carried out such as: practical classes, workshops and projects that favor the connection with the environment and the life task , spaces were developed where they largely shared their experiences, experiences and daily stories, it is urgent and it is a need to deepen in them the importance of achieving a healthy, developer and active aging, through learning, group construction and stimulation of healthy lifestyles. An attempt was made to develop new skills and abilities in this audience, in addition to favoring communication, contributing to socialization, cognitive development and emotional well-being by linking with nature, culture and society, strengthening self-esteem and thus facing the current transformations and sudden climatic changes. Historical - logical, analysis - synthesis, observation, document analysis methods were used.
