ABSTRACT
Introduction: In the search for understanding organizational management, the fact of considering it as a practical activity on the one hand, and as an area of scientific knowledge on the other, stands out as a distinctive element. With respect to the latter consideration, the proposal of principles that best explain and guide this process as part of its theoretical body is insufficient, due to its dialectical nature. Objective: To formulate a proposal of principles of general application that allows, on the one hand, to understand the administrative phenomenon, and on the other hand, to guide its practice. Development: Analysis and synthesis, historical-logical, hermeneutic-dialectic and holistic-dialectic methods were used as theoretical methods. Documentary review and social network analysis were used as empirical methods. In addition, a correlation analysis of distances was carried out through the SPSS program; as well as the analysis of the centrality of the network of relationships between the selected principles with the NetDraw tool of the UCINET software. Those principles that best explain the organizational management process were determined. Conclusions: Organizational management, despite constituting an area of scientific knowledge with a system of defined categories, is a discipline that is still under construction from the gnoseological and methodological point of view. This justifies the proposal of principles formulated, which is considered pertinent, as it articulates scientifically valid principles in dissimilar organizational contexts, and which have practical implications in the primary elements of any organization.REFERENCES
