ABSTRACT
Spontaneous mesenteric hematoma is a rare medical condition,
usually associated with acute pathologies that often go
unnoticed, with an incidence in patients between 8 and 60
years, peaking at 55–56 years, without gender predilection.
It is associated with nonspecific clinical presentation such as
diffuse abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, which vary
depending on the location and extent of bleeding. All this
makes it a difficult entity to diagnose, both clinically and radiologically.
Due to its rarity, we decided to report this case,
to be considered as a differential diagnosis in the presence
of mesenteric lesions.
