ABSTRACT

The surgery cardiac is a choice to correct total or partially the cardiopathies; the patients require integral attention of infirmary to limit problems that complicate the procedure. The nurse will value specific points like: prevention of infections, suspension of anticoagulants and learning about the procedure; it will contribute to the recovery of the patient and will involve to his family in this process with the objective to obtain satisfactory results and optimal conditions of the patient for the surgical procedure.
