Biosafety and COVID-19 in stomatological practice. Actuality article

ABSTRACT
In the critical current context of COVID-19 pandemics it is essencial reinforce the basic principles of Biosecutity. A bibliographic searching was carried out in sources of digital and printed information, data bases in BVS of Infomed, Scielo, Pubmed, Google, Lilacs, and Medline with the objective to update Biosecurity aspects to take into account during the dental practice to face COVID-19; for the selection of the articles, updated criteria and the validity of the studies were taken into consideration. It is necessary to implement prevention strategies focused on disinfection of the place to work, Dentists´ Offices and waiting rooms; the adequate sterilization of instruments a material for working; as well as the adequate management of the contaminated material and biologic wastes. These measures diminish the viral charge, avoid the dissemination and guarantee professional health protection and a safe assistance to the population.REFERENCES
