These bacteria can colonize the stomatognathic system when the integrity of the tissues so surrounding the tooth is lost, in addition these pathogens can spread to the aponeurotic spaces compromising the patient's quality of life. Objectives: this case describes the treatment and the outcome of periapical actinomicosis in a tooth 23. To create a poposal for antibiotic therapy to combat this infection. Conclusions: when a periapical lesion does not improve even with endodontic treatment within six months, a histopathological study should be performed, this is essential to establish an accurate diagnosis and therefore provide efficient dental management with the lowest probability of failure.REFERENCES
