ABSTRACT
Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) involves congenital
joint contractures and presents anesthetic challenges. We
present a patient with AMC and substance use disorder
undergoing orthopedic surgery. A difficult airway was
anticipated, neuromuscular blockers were avoided, and
epidural analgesia provided effective pain control.
