ABSTRACT

Epidermoid cysts are benign, slow-growing lesions originating from the epidermis. They primarily affect young and middleaged men and are most commonly found on the face, neck, and trunk, while being rare in regions such as the buttocks, extremities, or breasts. A 48-year-old male presented with a cyst in the left gluteal region that had evolved over 18 months. Imaging studies revealed an encapsulated mass with no signs of infiltration or malignancy. Complete surgical excision was performed, confirming the diagnosis of a giant epidermoid cyst without malignancy.
