ABSTRACT

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) continues to be one of the most advanced pathological entities in terms of medical and surgical treatment, with focus on both detection by screening and surgical management in locally advanced clinical stages, which were previously destined to receive only medical treatment thanks to the advent of targeted therapies and immunotherapy. We present the case of a 69-year-old male patient with EGFR-positive lung adenocarcinoma in clinical stage IIIA due to single positive N2 (7) who received neoadjuvant targeted therapy and subsequent surgical resection and who is currently in remission of the disease.
