A nation is a mixture of many elements: a defined territory; sometimes, a single ethnic group or, conversely, an amalgam of different ethnicities and languages; a common historical past; and a combination of cultures and civilizational values. As classically defined, culture is the set of collective systems of values, tenets, customs, and social behavior shared by a human community.1 The amalgamation of musical, literary, philosophical, pictorial, sculptural, architectural, cinematographic, photographic, handicraft, sports, and culinary traditions on the one hand, and the technicalscientific legacy on the other, forms the core of what could be called «the national soul».
