ABSTRACT

Sudden death can be present in previously asymptomatic patients. Therefore, the recognition of subtle clinical data is important to identify the etiologic diagnosis and treatment. Despite the stressful clinical scenario, it is necessary to know the most frequent causes of sudden death at different age populations, even when the etiologic diagnosis cannot be made at that moment.
