ABSTRACT

Sinus fungal disease is becoming one of the most important diseases of the nasal cavity because of raising prevalence. We are beginning to learn it’s physiopathology and treatment at the same time that MIST (Minimal invasive surgery techniques) are becoming the standard of care for nasal disease. We present two cases of non invasive mycosis of the sphenoid sinus, that were successfully resolved using MIST and computer image guided technology.
