ABSTRACT

This article reviews the laws, and regulations applicable and the requirements needed for Informed Consent in Medicine and Dentistry, it shows the inconvenience to require the Informed Consent to its full extension for the exercise of Dentistry. It is preferable to follow the current legislation that establishes the need to obtain the patient’s authorization in the Treatment Plan.
