Nahuatl physicians’ moral?: A text published in Mexico in 1600

ABSTRACT

Some commentaries about novohispanic Mexican texts are made in this paper. The clergymen’s interest to impose Christianism onto the Nahuatl people lead them to adulterate original prehispanic texts. The author shows some indigenous texts to demonstrate that the Nahuatl physicians’ moral could have been different to Christian moral.
