Adequate emotional management of the diagnosis.

ABSTRACT

When a patient is close to receiving a negative diagnosis, it is of the outmost importance to contemplate his emotional aspects, so he can have the necessary tools and be prepared to face his reality. The labor of the Clinical Psychologist, with the adjoining medical team, is vital for the achievement of these purposes.
