ABSTRACT

Ankylosing spondylitis during the last years has stopped being so infrequent and its consequence concerning disability problems are important from a functional-social point of view for the subject who suffers from this problem. Therefore, the role achieved by rehabilitation in those people have this pathology, every day is getting more applicable; consequently it is necessary to remember all steps to be followed in order to establish a good rehabilitation plan. We will review part of its symptoms, functional valuation and total rehabilitation.
