Myasthenia gravis in a woman embarrassed with 24 weeks of gestation. Report of a case

ABSTRACT

We presented the case of a woman of 19 years of age, with pregnancy of 24 weeks of gestation, that present to generalized weakness, febrile syndrome, respiratory insufficiency and sialorrea, is handled in the Unit of Intensive Therapy, I am made electromyography before lost of the muscular force, with results positive for Myasthenia Gravis, the antiacetylcholine antibodies were positives, confirming the diagnosis, handling with pyridostigmine and steroids, being progressive improvement. The case by the importance that the diagnosis has and the treatment of the cases of Myasthenia Gravis is discussed that are associated with the pregnancy.
