Tuberculosis peritoneal en los niños. A propósito de un caso

ABSTRACT

We presented the case of an adolescent female patient with 15 years old in whom was diagnosed peritoneal tuberculosis through a biopsy of abdominal adenopathy and epiplon by means of laparotomy. The patient had arrived by presenting astenia, adinamia, hiporexia, eight kg weight loss in three months, abdominal distension, abdominal pain and intermittent fever.
The paraclinical studies only demonstrated ascitis important without evident cause, for what we were appeal to the surgery by means of laparotomy with findings of macro and microscopic peritoneal tuberculosis. Upon concluding we carried out a review of the topic.
