Infección urinaria en niños. Veintitrés años de experiencia en un Hospital General

ABSTRACT

Report of 23 years experience on urinay infection in a general hospital. Were reviewed 297 clinical and radiological files with urinary infection diagnosis 115 (38.7%) male, 182 (61.3%) female. Disuria, polaquiuria, fever, bladder pain, abdominal pain, lumbar pain and enuresis were the most frequent symptoms. E. coli and Proteus were the most frequent bacteries, the Gram coloration coincided with urine culture in 81%, 58 cases (19.2%) had urologic radiologic alterations, being the most frequent ureteropelvic junction obstruction, vesicoureteral reflux and hydronephrosis.
