ABSTRACT
Ectopic pancreatic tissue also named heterotopic pancreas, is seldom diagnosed; most of the times it is found at the stomach, duodenum or jejunum, nevertheless, it has been reported in other locations such as the spleen, biliary ducts, lung and as in the present case at the gallbladder. We present a case of heterotopic pancreas of the gallbladder and complement this presentation with the literature review.
