Bioethics in pediatrics. Dilemmas and reflections

ABSTRACT

In pediatrics frequently there are different clinic scene that represent limit situations, where emanate complex ethics dilemmas that the paediatrician can not ignorant, if he wants to resolve them based in his/her moral criterion and finding the comfort of the child.
In this paper, it describes examples of them, such as: the decision take in perinatal medicine; suppression of vital support and cardiopulmonary reanimation; treatment to pain in terminal sickness; take care to children with chronic pathology or incapacity and the futility in the medical treatment.
The pediatrician must always know the children have dignity as person, with right own; passed in his essence like human being, and this right can not be violated, independent of age, sex, race, religion, social of economic position. Therefore with the moral values learned of his children.
