ABSTRACT

The nocturnal enuresis is a frequent disorder originated in a great variety of factor like genetic, neurological disfunction, hormonal disorders, alteration of the dream, psychological disorders, organic illnesses and urinary tract malformations. It are calculated that 2 to 5% they of the children present enuresis upon arriving to the 15 years, of where we deduced that in Mexico the number of enuretic in of 1.800.000 youth. For their investigations are required of a clinical detailed history and how support is enough a general exam and culture of urine and alone in exceptional cases an ultrasonography of kidney and urinary tract. Die the high indexes of spontaneous resolution the appropriate treatment will be conservative and be based in methods of modification of the conduct; except for they in special cases are used drugs like imipramine, anticholinergics, desmopressin and diclofenac, more troops in combination with urinary alarms with which cures and obtained until 97.5%. The pediatricians should know the dose and the undesirable and toxic effects of these.
