ABSTRACT

The recurrent abdominal pain (APR) is a frequent disease of pediatrics ages and is associated with very different pathologies, between those the inflammatory processes gastroduodenals caused by Helicobacter pylori. We have realized a prospective, transverse and observational research in 25 children at hospital «Dr. Darío Fernández Fierro», ISSSTE with the diagnosis of APR. The bioest group was the infant (0.52); 23 children have been received multiple treatments (0.92). All patient was submitted to a endoscopy with takes of biopsia and histological analisys of the samples. They’re reported alterations suggestive of infection by H. pylori in 24 patients (0.96) and histological alterations in 17 patients (0.69). We could seen in two patients the bactery (H.P) in the biopsy. The serology test was positive in ten patients (0.40). We conclude the children with recurrent abdominal pain (APR) and another gastrointestinal symptoms in those that exclude quirurgical patology, we must considered like potential infected patients, by H. pylori and will be useful a serologic test to decided when will started the antibiotic treatment.
The endoscopy test taking a biopsy for the histological examination continuous being useful to confirmed the diagnosis or to, evaluate the failure treatment or bactery eradication.
