ABSTRACT

We review the case of a 57-year-old man who presented reporting weakness, low back pain, anorexia, night sweats and weight loss in the previous six months. During the clinical investigation it was found an adrenal incidentaloma. He received surgical treatment. The specimens were sent for microscopical examination. The results were consistent with adrenal histoplasmosis. This case was discussed in the hospital’s grand rounds, followed with a review of the current literature.
