ABSTRACT

Revista ADM has been published since 1943, and in its pages can be found a wealth of relevant aspects of the national dentistry for over 60 years. Purpose an analysis of the articles presented in the journal since its foundation until the year 2004, through the review of all the volumes available at the ADM library was: collected information number of authors and gender of the first author, article type, topic, affiliation and nationality of the first author, number of pages and references. In the analysis of the results can be seen the evolution of publications, in relation to the issues addressed, the author’s profile, groups of academics educational institutions and health facilities, increase in the number of women who publish, including another interesting data, which confirm the importance and strength that the journal ADM has had in the dental profession.
