ABSTRACT
The osteoarthritis is a disease that affect mainly persons older than 65 years. The women are frequently the most affected, having as manifestation the gonarthrosis. The gonarthrosis can also affect young women; examples of this are shown, besides commenting about the tests in osteoarthritis and to end with the medical treatment that the patient is given in Mexico.
