ABSTRACT
Muscular weakness and an inflammatory process in the skeletal muscle characterize inflammatory myopathy. Diagnostic criteria include symmetrical weakness of the muscles of the escapular and pelvic waist, increase of the seric enzymes concentrations of the skeletal muscle, characteristic histological findings in the muscle biopsy and in electromyography. We communicate the clinical and histological data of a patient with myositis by inclusion bodies.
