ABSTRACT

The study was done to find the eficiency of electroconvulsive therapy in idiopatic Parkinson. We evaluated 7 patients and before the therapy their motor capacity was evaluated and after they recive 10 sesions of electro therapy were followed at 2 and 24 months a marked reduction of extrapiramidal symptoms, and psiquiatric ones were improved howenuer 4 months latter a lost of the knotor improvement was observed. We belive that further study is necessary.
