ABSTRACT
Condylar hyperplasia is a pathologic condition which needs to be studied in detail. It is more common in the adult females demonstrating facial asymmetry. As a clinical sing. It is recommended to include in the diagnostic work-up, besides conventional radiography, computerized tomography, scintigraphy with Tc 99 mp as a contrast mediaquantifying the condylar activity and compaining it to L4. This article presents a literature review, as well as case presentations.
