ABSTRACT

Kaposi´s varicelliform eruption is a serious viral infection due mostly to herpes simplex type 1 virus. It occurs in patients with preexisting dermatoses and impaired humoral and cell dependant immunity. We present the case of a man with this diagnosis along with a brief review on the subject.
