Text Extraction

Facial chronic granulomatous disease or lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei is a granulomatous disorder of unknown aetiopathology. It is characterized by red-brown or yellow papules, nodules or pustules in the central areas of the face leaving small pitted scars. Histopathologic findings include epithelioid cell granuloma with central necrosis surrounded by a mononuclear infiltrate. We describe the case of a young man who had facial chronic granulomatous disease treated with prednisone and doxycycline.
