ABSTRACT
Among the techniques of exchange transfusion used in newly borns have been propound different type of procedures. In this paper is exposed one of them, which uses the umbilical vein for the extraction of blood and anyone superficial vein for the blood transfusion. This technique vein-vein, as is called, has three variants: 1. When are use of two infusion bombs, 2. The utilization of graduate burettes, and 3. By the control exchange of drop by drop of the blood. It is an isovolumetrical technique, which is based on the principle that for each drop of blood that it is extracted, it enters another to the veined system, in the same lapse. By this way is avoiding the abrupt hemodynamic changes. It is easy and sure, and anyone of their variants is easy to follow in any hospital.REFERENCES
