Cantrell’s pentalogy associated to Fallot´s pentalogy

ABSTRACT

The Cantrell’s pentalogy is a rare congenital malformation, integrated by five primary characteristics: defect in the lower third of the sternum, the anterior segment of the diaphragm, the diaphragmatic pericardium, in the midline abdominal and intracardiac congenital defects. Here is reported a case of a female newborn with this malformations, identified since the fourth month of the pregnancy and die at third day of be born. It is discuss the clinical findings according to the information about this complex malformation.
