Differential diagnosis and treatment in the presence of a cystic abdominal mass in a newborn

ABSTRACT
We report a case of a female newborn with large cystic abdominal mass, diagnosed by antenatal ultrasonography. A postnatal ultrasonographic study confirmed the diagnosis of an ovarian cyst. It was removed at the fourth day of life by a conventional surgery. We reviewed the differential diagnosis and treatment in cases of a cystic abdominal mass in a newborns.
