ABSTRACT

Introduction. The infection by eggs (larvae) of Toxocara canis or T. catis, nematodes of dogs and cats respectively, is a zoonosis that causes a disseminated infection. The man acts as a non natural guest, because the larvae of these parasites cannot be developed but they migrate and survive by long time.
Clinical case. The case of a scholar child who presented abdominal pain, fever and vomit, it is thought of a pseudo obstruction by Ascaris, for this reason he undergoes surgery. By this way the diagnosis of Larva migrans was done.
