Key words:

Bell’s phenomenon, Mexican population.

ABSTRACT

Bell’s phenomenon is an important physical sign in clinical medicine. It is included in the ocular somatic reflexes, such as the vestibular-ocular and optokinetic reflexes. Bell’s direction, magnitude and duration time is still controversial. The purpose of this study is to present the percentages of the presence and direction of Bell’s phenomenon in Mexican population without strabismus or neurological disorders.
