ABSTRACT
The iniencephaly is a slightly common fault of the neural pipe that combines an extreme retroflexion of the head with serious faults of the backbone. The diagnosis at birth could be done because the head retroflexion is so serious the face looks up. Generally, the neck is absent and the prognosis is extremely poor. Here it is presented a clinical case and the
postmortem study.
