Chondroid syringoma

ABSTRACT

The chondroid syringoma, formerly called mixed tumors of the skin is a benign and a rare skin tumor with epithelial and mesenchymal elements in its constitution. The clinical diagnosis of this tumor is difficult so the histopathologic study is indispensable. We present a literature review and the case of male patient diagnosed with chondroid syringoma whose topography is the most frequent, the nose. We propose a technique for removal with excellent cosmetic result.
