ABSTRACT

A modification to the Network appliance system is reported in this study, the purpose is to contribute to dental community that uses functional orthopedics, with an alternative option for treating their patients. The appliance has the same characteristics of any SN in the maxilla, but in the mandible a «continuous conduction arch» is used to maintain the growing stimulus, as well as to maintain the results of the treatment. This appliance could be used obtaining excellent results in the phase of bicuspid eruption and until the end of treatment.
