ABSTRACT

Ameloblastoma is a polimorphic benign tumor, locally invasive, formed by odontogenic proliferative epithelium. Usually presents follicular, plexiform, desmoplasic, acanthomatous, granular or basal cells patherns. Is considered the second more frequent odontogenic tumor in México. At "Juárez de México" hospital arrives a male patient of 42 years old with a diagnosis of mandibular granular cell ameloblastoma, the treatment consisted of a surgical extirpation, the reconstruction was achieved with a titanium plate. The evolution of the patient was followed, and 18 months after surgery, there was not any recurrence.
