Laugier-Hunziker syndrome. Literature review and presentation of 3 children’s cases

ABSTRACT

Laugier-Hunziker syndrome is an infrequent benign and acquired condition of the lips, oral mucosa and nails; without any systemic involvement. Three pediatric patients are reported and literature case report are discussed. It is important to recognize other disorders producing similar pigmentary changes such as Peutz-Jeghers syndrome that must be differentiated because of their clinical outcome.
