ABSTRACT

This randomized clinical trial included patients suffering of bipolar affection in deppressive phase, compared the efficacy of TMS (transcraneal magnetic stimulation) vs antidepressive pharmacological therapy. A significant reduction in duration of symptoms of depression as well as anxiety and improvement of both health quality score and clinical evaluations. Authors conclude that both treatments are effectiveoptions for tratment of this condition.
