ABSTRACT

An evaluation is realized in patients suffering of depression for performance of cognitive areas such as atention, memory and executive functions before and after electroconvulsive therapy. Clinical findings allows to identify a diffuse affection in both atention and memory processes after the ECT, as well as specific language impairment for the Broca’s cortical region.
