ABSTRACT

The Strongyloides stercoralis is a parasite that has the ability to reproduce within the human being, which explains its presence for many years. He examines the case of a patient man of 48 years, born and resident in Quito, go with abdominal pain, hyperhemia and diarrheal stools recurring. Not cede entirely to medication. He was performed an endoscopy high with takes of biopsy gastric and duodenal, the same that are considered with colorations of haematoxylin-eosin, where the presence of parasite in the form of larvae and eggs.
