Ameloblastoma, odontogenic tumours.

ABSTRACT

The ameloblastoma represents the second most common odontogenic tumour. Locally aggressive but with a very low tendency to metastasize. The prognosis is variable and depends on the elected surgical procedure. We present a retrospective study of clinic-pathological features of the ameloblastomas treated by the Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Juarez Hospital in Mexico City since 2007 to 2009, and an analysis of the factors for the surgical management decision.
