ABSTRACT

Considering the importance that in etiopathogeny of the hospital-acquired respiratory infection have the colonization of the aerial route through contaminated aerosols produced by equipment of inhaloterapia submissive an inadequate disinfection of high level, the use of disposable equipment or sterilization by means of the sterilizer with steam he would be most advisable, nevertheless in many occasions this is not possible, reason why the appropriate the disinfectant election and use like the glutaraldehyde one, as well as the standardization, control and evaluation of the processes like part of the strategies to prevent the hospital-acquired infections, doubtless represent an impact within a safe frame of attention the health.
