ABSTRACT

This article report´s the case of a compound odontoma is reported that caused delay in the eruption of a central upper incisor. A revision of the literature is presented with clinical, radiographic and microscopic results. The odontoma was removed followed by a careful examination. The treatment included the use of an expansor of the maxilla to create the necessary space to facilitate the eruption of the retained tooth.
