ABSTRACT

The neuromuscular desprogramation plane is a removible displaced decive on the teeth of maxilar and its objective is to obtain the position in mandibular centric relation to make an orthodontic diagnosis with gnatologics principles.
The clinical case in a patient who used a neuromuscular desprogramation plane, with the objective is reported of eluding the behavior to neuromuscular abnormal that was generated when existing a centric sliding, demonstrating that a difference between centric relation and centric occlusion exists, which can modify the diagnosis and plan of treatment.
