ABSTRACT

The lesions are considered hamartomatous odontoma, so that serious complications are rare, but when they erupt can be associated with infections, report the case of a female patient aged 9, who came to consultation by the infectious process associated with a partially erupted odontoma, so surgical treatment is carried out together with infection control, review the histopathology specimen to observe that besides the dentigerous cyst associated with odontoma presented and superinfected, then a year later the patient is asymptomatic, we review literature on their cases and probable cause of eruption.
