ABSTRACT

Non-neoplastic, congenital cysts of the spinal cord are unusual. Enterogenic cyst is a type of congenital cyst which affect the neuroaxis.
Enterogenic cysts have an epithelium similar to primitive structures as the esophagus, the respiratory tract or the stomach. A cyst is called bronchiogenic when its epithelium is similar to respiratory tract epithelium. Most cysts are located intra-extramedullary in the cervico-dorsal regions.
We describe a case of intramedullary cervical bronchiogenic cyst in a 9 years old child.
